The little berry seems to be going through an explosion in terms of her spoken vocabulary, she’s picking up words really fast and repeating after us fairly easily. Just thought I’ll keep a record of the words she can say at 14 months (newly learnt words bolded):

People:
Mama
Papa
Nai nai

Ah Yi
Ah Gong
Ah Ma (Or Ma!)
Amy

Animals:
Dog dog
Woo woo
(dog barking)
Duck duck

(for cat)
Moo (for cow)

Mandarin:
“Kai” (for open)
“Yao” (when she wants something, or “Yao yao yao” when she wants something urgently)
“Xie Xie” (for thank you)
“Bu Ke Qi” (for you’re welcome, but she struggles with this one)

Rain rain (& tap her head with raindrops)
Baa baa (for baa baa black sheep)
Pur (for Please)
No no (or “No Neng” her fav word at the moment)
Where (complete with hand gestures)

(to unbuckle her)
